Techniques for soldering electronic components

Release Date:Sep 19, 2025

1. Before welding, prepare rosin, rosin oil, or acid free soldering flux.

2. Before welding, scrape the area to be welded with a small knife or use a relatively fine sandpaper to wipe it clean to make it appear metallic, and apply solder flux.

3. When welding, the soldering iron should have sufficient heat, but not too high. To ensure welding quality, attention should be paid to avoiding virtual welding and desoldering.

4. The welding time should not be too long.

5. After the soldering iron leaves the solder joint, the parts cannot be moved immediately, otherwise the parts are prone to desoldering due to the solder not solidifying yet.

6. It is best to wire the connected components first and then tin them.

7. When soldering high-temperature sensitive components such as transistors, it is best to use pliers or tweezers to clamp the transistor's lead pins to help dissipate heat
