PCB copy prototype testing and verification is a critical pre-production core link in the PCB reverse engineering process, which undertakes the key task of verifying the accuracy, stability, and compatibility of duplicated circuit board designs before formal mass production. PCB copy is not a simple mechanical duplication of circuit boards; minor deviations in reverse parsing of wiring logic, component parameters, and circuit impedance may lead to functional failure of the finished board. Therefore, professional prototype testing and verification is essential to eliminate design defects, verify circuit performance, and ensure that the duplicated PCB can fully match the functional indicators and application performance of the original board. This service is applicable to all scenarios of PCB reverse replication, especially for high-precision boards such as medical electronic boards, precision instrument control boards, and aerospace auxiliary circuit boards with strict performance requirements.
The prototype testing and verification process covers multi-dimensional and all-round performance detection and functional verification. Firstly, we conduct appearance and structural inspection of the copied prototype to check for defects such as poor wiring, short circuits, open circuits, and solder mask abnormalities, and verify the consistency of board size, hole position, and interface structure with the original board. Secondly, we carry out electrical performance testing, including circuit continuity testing, impedance testing, voltage and current load testing, and signal integrity testing, to ensure that the circuit conduction performance and signal transmission effect of the duplicated board are consistent with the original design. For high-frequency and high-speed PCBs, we also add professional anti-interference testing and signal attenuation testing to eliminate hidden dangers of signal distortion during operation.
On the basis of basic performance testing, we further conduct functional simulation testing and environmental adaptability verification of the prototype. We build a real application simulation environment to test the operating state, functional response speed, and collaborative working performance of the prototype under working conditions, and verify the compatibility of the prototype with supporting components and equipment. At the same time, we conduct aging tests of different durations and temperature and humidity cycle tests to detect the stability and durability of the prototype in long-term operation. After all tests are completed, we will generate a professional test verification report, record all test data and performance indicators in detail, and optimize and adjust the copy design scheme for minor problems found in the test to ensure that the finalized design scheme is mature, stable, and ready for formal mass production.
